Duties
Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and positive attitude.
Take accurate food and drink orders while providing recommendations to enhance the dining experience through upselling.
Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets our culinary standards.
Assist in food preparation and kitchen tasks when necessary to support the team.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and condiments.
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction throughout their visit.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
Skills
Strong understanding of guest services with a focus on creating memorable experiences.
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Knowledge of food safety practices to maintain a safe dining environment.
Time management skills to efficiently juggle multiple tasks during peak hours.
Experience in culinary or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
