Job description
Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Junior Video Editor who is passionate about storytelling and visual content creation. The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in video editing and post-production, with a strong eye for detail and creativity. You will work closely with the creative team to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with the brand's vision and objectives.

Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for digital platforms, marketing campaigns, and social media.
Assist in creating compelling visual stories through effective editing, transitions, sound, and graphics.
Add basic motion graphics, animations, subtitles, and visual effects where required.
Enhance videos with color correction, audio balancing, and background music.
Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to understand project requirements.
Ensure all video content follows brand guidelines and quality standards.
Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and media libraries.
Deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and creative techniques.

Qualifications:
2–3 years of experience in video editing or post-production.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro is an advantage.
Basic understanding of motion graphics, typography, and visual storytelling.
Knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and video compression techniques.
Strong attention to detail and creative mindset.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

Preffered:
Experience editing content for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other digital platforms.
Basic knowledge of motion graphics and animation.
Understanding of social media video formats and trends.
Ability to create short-form videos, reels, and promotional content.
Familiarity with AI-powered editing tools is an added advantage
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Multimedia, Animation, Mass Communication, Film Editing, or a related field.
A strong portfolio showcasing video editing projects (links or samples are mandatory).
Passion for creativity, storytelling, and continuous learning.
