Overview
The Video Editor plays a crucial role in shaping the visual narrative of our projects at the Karkardooma Office. This position is instrumental in transforming raw footage into polished, engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
Edit raw footage into compelling videos aligned with project objectives.
Collaborate with the production and creative teams to conceptualize project visions.
Utilize editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
Incorporate graphics, sound effects, and music into videos for a polished finish.
Ensure all content meets quality standards and brand guidelines.
Review and select the best takes and make necessary cuts for coherence.
Sync audio and video to ensure a seamless viewing experience.
Manage project timelines and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
Maintain organized libraries of digital footage and project files.
Collaborate with the Marketing team for promotional videos and ads.
Prepare final video files for distribution and various platforms.
Assist in live production and recordings when necessary.
Document and catalog video editing processes for training and reference.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience as a Video Editor in a professional setting.
Familiarity with various video editing software and tools.
Strong portfolio showcasing previous work and creativity.
Excellent understanding of video composition and storytelling techniques.
Knowledge of color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and focus on delivering high-quality work.
Bachelor’s degree in Film, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
Experience with animation software is a plus.
Familiarity with social media platforms and trends.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to accept constructive feedback and improve skills.
A passion for video production and staying current with technology.
