Video creator for WordPress plugins
Job Description
We’re not looking for a videographer with a camera and lighting kit. We’re looking for someone who can sit at a desk, fire up a WordPress site, use a plugin the way a real customer would, capture the screen, and narrate.
The plugins you’d film
• DiviExtended – Plugins for Divi.
• WPMozo – Plugins for Block Editor, Elementor, WooCommerce
Each one needs multiple short feature videos plus the occasional longer tutorial. We push roughly 4-8 videos per month per product.
What the work looks like
• We send you a plugin and a one-paragraph brief
• You install it on one of our test sites
• You read the docs, figure out the feature
• You record the screen, narrate what you’re doing
• You edit out dead air, typos, false starts
• You deliver in 4 formats: YouTube full, 1080×1080 for Instagram, 1080×1920 for stories, 16:9 for product page embeds
• We give feedback within 24-48 hours, you revise, done
Fit signals
• You’ve made plugin or SaaS demo videos before. Portfolio links matter more than resumes.
• Your voice is clear. Accent is fine. Monotone isn’t.
• You know what a WordPress admin area looks like
• You can self-direct. We send a brief, not a shot list.
• You work in any editor: Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, whichever
Skip the application if
• You need motion design intros and cinematic transitions to get started
• You want full creative briefs and storyboards before recording
• Your portfolio is mostly weddings, social reels, or vlogs
Setup
• Remote
• 3-6 months commitment with rolling renewal
• Per-video, per-hour, or per-month rate. Your preference, your number.
• We provide test sites, plugin licenses, briefs, and 24-48 hour feedback turnaround
To apply
• Two demo videos you’ve made (plugin or SaaS preferred)
• Your rate structure
• The most boring product you’ve ever made a video for, and how you made it watchable
• We reply within 5-7 business days. If it’s a fit, we send a small paid test (one video, paid market rate) before any longer commitment
