Little Mez by Margo’s is an ******** underground cocktail bar in the heart of Queenstown, known for its moody atmosphere, exceptional margaritas, and curated tequila and mezcal selection.

The Role
We’re looking for an experienced and driven Venue Manager to take full ownership of Little Mez.
You’ll lead the venue end-to-end, building a strong team, delivering an engaging guest experience, and driving financial and operational performance.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead from the floor, set the energy of the room, and create an environment where both guests and team want to be.
Key Responsibilities
Own overall venue performance across guest experience, team, and financial results
Drive service standards in a premium, cocktail-focused environment
Champion cocktail quality, product knowledge, and presentation
Build a strong, positive, and accountable team culture
Manage labour, cost of goods, and efficiencies to meet targets
Ensure compliance with licensing laws and health & safety requirements
Work with senior leadership on performance, strategy, and improvements
What you bring:
Proven experience as a Venue Manager, Bar Manager, or ready to step up
LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate (or ability to obtain)
Strong cocktail and beverage knowledge, with a genuine passion for hospitality
Confident in a late-night environment
Hands-on leader who leads from the floor
Strong communicator who engages both team and guests
