The System Engineer will be responsible for handling various aspects of system engineering related to Steering, Electric Parking Brake, and Vehicle Dynamic Steering Wheel (VDSW). Key responsibilities include handling requirements, creating Software Requirements Specifications (SWRS) for Application and BaseTech, managing Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for Electronic Control Units (ECUs), and coordinating the review of Software Requirements Traceability (SWRT) documents with suppliers. The engineer will follow up with suppliers to ensure that requirements are implemented and will be involved in fault tracing vehicle issues in Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) rigs. Additionally, the engineer will create and review Software Change Requests (SCRs) and System Design Blocks (SDBs) before releases, maintain Technical Registers (Tregs), and create verification plans for systems.
Competence Requirements:
• Strong understanding of system engineering principles, particularly in the areas of Steering, Electric Parking Brake, and VDSW
• Proficiency in handling requirements and creating SWRS for Application and BaseTech
• Experience in managing DPRs for ECUs and coordinating the review of SWRT documents with suppliers
• Ability to follow up with suppliers to ensure that requirements are implemented effectively
• Familiarity with fault tracing vehicle issues in HIL rigs
• Experience in creating and reviewing SCRs and SDBs before releases
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining Technical Registers (Tregs)
• Experience in creating verification plans for systems
• Project engineering skills, including creating and maintaining SW timing release plans and releasing SW according to project timelines and SW submission processes
• Experience in system engineering verification, including creating and maintaining system verification plans, SWTD (Software Test Description), and SWTR (Software Test Report) together with the test automation team
• Ability to create and maintain test scripts together with the test automation team
