Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad for VARC (Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension) Faculty and Legal & General Knowledge (GK) Faculty. The role involves planning and delivering high-quality classroom sessions for UG and PG entrance exams, including law and management-focused tests, with a strong emphasis on conceptual clarity and exam-oriented preparation. Faculty members design lesson plans, create and review study materials, practice questions, and mock tests, and provide regular doubt-solving support to learners. The role includes tracking student performance, offering individualized academic guidance, and coordinating with academic and content teams to ensure curriculum alignment. Faculty are expected to participate in workshops, mentoring sessions, and exam strategy sessions, while contributing to continuous improvement of teaching methods and learning outcomes.
Qualifications
• Strong expertise in Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, English language usage, and critical reasoning relevant to competitive exams.
• In-depth knowledge of Legal Aptitude, basic legal concepts, current legal affairs, and General Knowledge/Current Affairs for law and other entrance tests.
• Prior classroom teaching or test-prep faculty experience, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and maintain high learner engagement.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills, with a learner-centric and inclusive teaching approach.
• Ability to design and review academic content, including notes, practice questions, and mock tests aligned with exam patterns.
• Comfort with basic ed-tech tools, digital content delivery, and using data on student performance to refine teaching strategies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, English, Humanities, Management, or related disciplines; strong academic record preferred.
• Willingness to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to academic initiatives across different Toprankers brands.
