We are one of the first work-from-anywhere companies with 2,000+ team members utilizing our virtual office called eXp World. This role is work-from-anywhere in Ontario, Canada.
Please note: This is a 1-year contract opportunity.

What you will do:
The UX Designer candidate will help Zoocasa translate eXp Realty and Zoocasa company goals and objectives into digital experiences by expanding and optimizing our web and mobile applications, planning and conducting user research, evangelizing industry best practices, leading and participating in cross-departmental ideation sessions and collaborating with the product team to incorporate the identity of the brand into features while ensuring logical user flow is realized into intuitive and stylish products.
You are a great communicator, passionate about producing top-notch work, providing great end-user experiences, and constantly improving your skills. As a member of the product team at Zoocasa, you will help design, create and test beautiful experiences that have a meaningful and measurable impact on our growing agent and client base.
Interpret quantitative data and emphasize with users to define pain points
Create, information architecture, user stories, personas, and user journey maps
Create designs, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that clearly communicate the design
Collaborate with the product team to evolve and refine our design process
Support cross-functional teams with internal design requests
Prepare and present to internal teams and key stakeholders
Work with product manager, designer, engineering, QA, and cross-functional team to identify problem and find solutions
Help maintain design system to ensure consistency throughout all projects that met design standards and industry best practices
How you will grab our attention:
Degree in Graphic Design, Product Design, User Experience Design, or equivalent work experience
Solid UI design skills with an attention to detail and a keen sense of interaction design
An understanding of mobile-first and user centered design
Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills that can effectively convey design concepts to team members, stakeholders and users
Ability to iterate designs with logics, sound reasons and collected data
An online portfolio that shows a range of successful user-centered case studies
Have analytical mindset to design with data
Proficient working knowledge of Figma
Excited for a scale-up environment that adapts to change
A great team player who asks questions, is resourceful and takes action proactively
Collaborative with a tight-knit and agile team who take pride and ownership in their work
Unafraid to challenge ideas and help come up with alternative solutions
Comfortable working with cross-functional team to manage design requests

The starting base pay for this position is $+0,000 CAD per year in our lowest geographic cost of living market and is dependent upon many factors such as location, experience, skills, and training. Base pay is only one part of the total compensation package offered to employees in recognition of their hard work and is determined within a range to allow for growth and development within a role.
