We are looking for an experienced design engineer to join our team!
Skills Required
• Must be proficient in SOLIDWORKS & EXCEL.
• Must have knowledge about Butterfly, Ball, GGC Valves.
• Good Technical Knowledge of Foundry & Machining Processes, Pattern, Core, Core-Box & Die Development.
• High Technical Skills for New Product Development.
• Must have knowledge about Bill of Materials (BOM) & ERP systems.
Technical knowledge for Valve Department
Roles & Responsibilities
• Create & perform mathematical calculation templates as per the relevant standards of Design.
• Create & perform mathematical calculation templates for IBR & prepare drawings for the same.
• Perform calculations & create designs of New Product Development Projects given & see the Project through completion.
• New Vendor development for new products with the help of Purchase Team.
• Create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and 2D and 3D models of mechanical equipment designs, dies/tools and controls using measurements, specifications and additional data from engineering team with the help of computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.
• Coordinate with and consult draftsman to design & layout, of detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.
• Review & Analyze drawings, 2D / 3D models created by other draftsman to check wall thickness, proper assembly as well as overall dimensions of model, patterns, core, die etc.
• Ability to capture and specify the design requirements and the development and validation needed to deliver successful systems, products and components to meet/exceed the customer’s specifications.
