US Medical Billing RCM Manager

Infotech Houston Solutions is leading MSP in Houston, Texas in United States provides Managed IT Services and Medical Billing services all over United States for past 20 years.

We are hiring a full time onsite RCM Manager who will lead our complete Medical Billing Department.

The Medical Billing (Revenue Cycle Management) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end revenue cycle process, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims, prompt payment, and the efficient handling of billing issues. This role requires a thorough understanding of medical billing, coding, compliance, and reimbursement processes in order to maximize revenue and improve cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations of the medical billing department, including charge entry, claims submissions, payment posting, and accounts receivable follow-up.
Manage and streamline the revenue cycle management (RCM) process, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and payer-specific billing regulations.
Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to billing accuracy, denial management, collections, and reimbursement rates.
Collaborate with healthcare providers and practice managers to ensure accurate documentation and coding practices that optimize revenue.
Analyze and resolve complex billing issues, including denials and appeals, and coordinate with payers to resolve outstanding claims.
Develop and maintain strong payer relationships to ensure timely resolution of billing issues.
Ensure timely processing of patient payments and handle patient inquiries or disputes related to billing.
Create and implement billing policies and procedures to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and updates in medical billing software and technologies.
Train, mentor, and supervise the medical billing staff, conducting performance reviews and offering guidance on best practices.
Generate financial reports and provide regular updates on billing performance and revenue cycle metrics to senior management.
Collaborate with coding professionals to ensure compliance with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding guidelines.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and healthcare payer systems.
Excellent knowledge of medical billing regulations, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance policies.
Experience with medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to oversee a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on optimizing revenue and reducing billing errors.
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

Certification in medical billing and coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) or certification in RCM.
Experience in managing billing for specific medical specialties (e.g., internal medicine, radiology, neurology, etc.).
Experience with denial management and appeals process for maximum reimbursement.
