Essential Functions:
• Designs and develops in-house software/IT tools & platforms adhering to standard code specifications efficiently and precisely. Participates in the design process for application software as required.
• Responsible for end-to-end development of C# .Net Core/ web applications in an Azure Platform as a Service environment.
• Mentoring and training of junior colleagues
• Communicates within development organization to solve complex programming problems and share knowledge/learnings.
• Experienced in the DevOps culture to ensure continuous integration, automated testing, and quality releases on a regular basis.
• Participate and guide the team in creation of user interface prototypes and documents software and related code modules
Hands on coding:
able to jump in to help teams understand best practices and meet deadlines. Is also expected to review codes written by developers. Review and writes detailed documentation as required.
• Leads an Agile Scrum software development team through all phases of the software development life cycle.
• Responsible for platform development. Identifies effective techniques for implementing platform-independent solutions. Independently identifies process improvements and directs the team to implement.
• Will be expected to lead code reviews and contribute towards the continuous improvement of code standards is also expected to write code on a daily basis
• Experience in test driven design, unit testing preferred
• Leads and mentors' developers to further their technical growth as well as within unique culture.
• A continual learner that stays up-to-date on the latest technologies
• provides guidance and may schedule or coordinate the work of less experienced co-workers
Technical capabilities
• Experience in C# .Net / web application development
• Ability to work in a continuous improvement and change management culture, with experience evaluating technical delivery issues and risks, and actively evaluating for opportunities to improve.
• Excellent team management skills and issue resolution skills
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the proven ability to successfully manage timeliness and critical paths with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain objective, and base recommendations and decisions on sound business principles and user requirements
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication (both oral and written) skills and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong presentation skills
