Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Construction Site Security Guard to protect personnel, property, and equipment. The ideal candidate is observant, responsible, and able to maintain a strong security presence throughout their shift.
Key Responsibilities
Patrol the construction site regularly on foot and with your personal vehicle for shelter-in-place purposes.
Maintain a consistent security presence and uphold site safety protocols.
Monitor and authorize access for vehicles, contractors, and visitors.
Observe and report suspicious activity, potential hazards, or unauthorized individuals.
Secure all site gates, doors, and equipment areas at designated times.
Respond to alarms or disturbances and assess the situation promptly.
Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident reports.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, site managers, and law enforcement when needed.
Requirements
Must have your own reliable vehicle, which must remain on-site and in your possession for the duration of each shift.
Proven experience as a security guard (preferred).
Valid security license SORA YELLOW CARD
Ability to patrol large outdoor areas in varying weather conditions.
Strong observational skills and professional demeanor.
Ability to remain on post for long durations.
Must be dependable, punctual, and able to follow protocols.
Compensation
Competitive hourly pay $15.00
Opportunities for additional hours and site assignments.
