Join our behaviour change team working in the Manurewa area to promote and encourage new and improved public transport services and walking and cycling for shorter trips. Ecological Associates is delivering this project on behalf of Auckland Transport as part of an on-going programme that has provided travel advice to over 12,000 Auckland residents so far.
The work involves:
engagoing residents through door-to-door surveys, workplace visits, and local events to discuss their travel habits.
persuading drivers or infrequent public transport users to try the improved services in exchange for incentives like 14-day trial AT-HOP cards or walking or cycling equipment.
accurately recording journey information and recommendations on provided tablets.
Selected team members will conduct phone calls to check in on residents’ progress.
We will consider everyone but it will be an advantage if you who know the Manurewa area and can engage with the community. We are looking for team members who are:
excellent communicators: comfortable approaching strangers and can turn a "no thanks" into a friendly conversation.
physically fit and highly motivated.
highly dependable - arrive on time, work hard and get satisfaction out of helping others.
great supporting the wider team to continually improve and reach engagement targets.
eligible to work in New Zealand as citizens, residents or who have an eligible visa.
