Test Analyst

Job Title :- Test Analyst

Location :- Chennai

Experience:- 4-+ years

Roles & Responsibilities:

· End-to-end UAT testing experience in banking

· Experience working in CDL, FIS, and TSYS – core platforms the scope of this engagement is around

· Manage user acceptance testing, organize meetings, and support training efforts to ensure effectiveness of UAT initiatives.

· Perform execution of test cases manually to verify actual result meets the expected results.

· Identify defects, research and decipher scope of issue, determine severity of issue.

· Use JIRA for defect tracking management and to log the defects.

· Develop test plan and test cases.

· Act as a liaison with offshore QA team: providing feedback on testing and working together to ensure defects are resolved.

· Gain expertise of the flow of the data from the source through the different systems.

· Perform back-end testing using SQL queries to make sure that data entered has been save correctly into the SQL database.

· Develop and execute SQL queries to execute database verification testing.

· Strong research capability and ability to articulate problems at conceptual level and in detail when needed.

· Demonstrated history of managing users through UAT phase

· Ability to create user acceptance testing for large complex programs

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to work efficiently in a team as well as working independently when required.

· Strong multi-tasking capabilities and ability to perform well under pressure and tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated individual with a strong desire for continuous self-development and a passion for innovation and technology. Previous experience in an analytics role, or a proven track record of strong analytical skills is highly desirable.
