The STET PM is responsible for the complete product development lifecycle, working cross-functionally with each of the Business Segments (Cardiology, General Imaging, Value Segment, Ultra Mobile, and Service), Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Regulatory, and Business Development. Engineers work in Electrical, Mechanical, Acoustic, Software, and Systems Engineering, with a focus on total customer solutions across a wide range of clinical applications, a diverse set of geographies, and a full range of price-performance levels for Ultrasound Systems.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the cross-functional team to proactively identify, prioritize, implement, transfer to manufacturing, stabilize and monitor any modifications needed to release products on an ultrasound platform.
• Ensures that products meet external and internal customer quality needs, cost targets, assurance of supply, address component obsolescence and service needs.
• Gain agreement on achieving project objectives, balancing schedule, cost, quality and requirements. Manages the scope and requirements. Manages the internal and external stakeholders.
• Hold reviews with internal stakeholders, including Ultrasound Management Team members, to review plans, strategy and actual metrics for the products he/she is responsible for.
• Manage the business case and is a business partner focused on maximization of the added value for the business.
• Manage projects ensuring execution is in line with project guidelines and directives.
• Determine project risks, defines corrective action and drives the projects to closure.
• Determine, allocates, and directs all project resources in accordance with guidelines.
• Lead internal and external cross-functional team members distributed across several locations across the globe, including USA, India, China, and Singapore.
• Takes on additional project leadership assignments of varying scope and complexity as a member of the Ultrasound Portfolio Lifecycle team. Keeps abreast of developments in project management tools and processes (both internal and external).
• Ensure compliance to corporate and regulatory agencies policies/rules/procedures.
Requirements
• Should have 10+ years of Project Management Experience.
• BS/MS in /Electrical/Computer Science/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Successful track record of project management managing major product releases.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional, cross-site stakeholders.
• Great work ethics with a passion for quality, Lean and business efficiency.
• PMP Certification, MBA and Experience in a regulated medical device development and manufacturing environment a plus.
