Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an experienced Technical Analyst – Commodities to support our trading, hedging, and procurement operations across base metals (Aluminium, Zinc, Wire Rods) and precious metals (Gold & Silver).
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in price analysis, charting, technical indicators, and derivative market behaviour, with the ability to provide high-quality trade recommendations and market insights.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Technical Market Analysis
Conduct daily technical studies on Base Metals (Aluminium, Zinc, Lead, Copper) and Precious Metals (Gold, Silver).
Perform trend analysis, price pattern recognition, candlestick analysis, support–resistance mapping, and multi-timeframe charting.
Use tools like moving averages, RSI, MACD, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci levels, VWAP, and volume analytics.
Track global commodity market movements including LME, COMEX, and domestic exchanges MCX/NSE.
2. Trading & Hedging Support
Provide actionable trade calls (intraday/positional) based on technical signals.
Advise management on hedging strategies for inventory and procurement.
Identify arbitrage and spread opportunities across exchanges and timeframes.
Monitor volatility events and adjust recommendations accordingly.
3. Reporting & Research
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports, dashboards, and market outlooks.
Maintain a database of past trades, performance evaluations, and chart-books.
Present technical insights to senior management to aid decision-making.
4. Strategy Development
Build and back-test rule-based technical models to improve accuracy and consistency.
Develop custom screeners for key indicators and trade setups.
Support automation initiatives for research and trade monitoring.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Technical Skills
Strong command over Technical Analysis of commodities.
Expertise in charting platforms such as TradingView
Deep understanding of price action, indicators, volume analytics, and market psychology.
Knowledge of futures, options, spreads, hedging, and ETD market structure.
Domain Knowledge
Exposure to physical commodities and market chains (especially Aluminium, Zinc, Lead, Copper, Gold, Silver).
Understanding of global cues affecting LME/COMEX/MCX movements.
Familiarity with import/export pricing, warehouse premiums, and inventory cycles (added advantage)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹100,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
