Job Description
We are looking for a smart & experienced Senior Back-end Developer to join our team.
We are an ed-tech company, helping passionate Game and Web3 Developers build their career by upskilling them through mentorship and placement support. If you are someone who does not like to stick to one boring job and keep working on the same skill throughout your career and love experimenting with your work then Outscal is definitely the right place for you.
What you can expect from the role:
• Develop backend using Node.js, database (MongoDB, Elasticsearch, etc)
• Take end-to-end ownership of your work
• Get opportunity to solve problems in edtech and gaming
Must-Have:
• Proven 3+ years of experience of working as a backend or full-stack developer
• Must have good understanding of Node.Js, Javascript, Mongodb
• Must have good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Strong CS fundamentals and problem solving skills
• Excellent analytical and time management skills.
• Interest in game industry, since you will be working with people crazy for developing and playing games.
Good to have:
• Familiarity with discord bot, no-code automation tools like Zapier, Automate.io, Airtable and their api’s is a plus.
• A basic understanding of front-end technologies like React.js, HTML, CSS
