Should have strong communication skills and should be able to perform the following in their daily routine.Working with vendors in an introductory support rolePerform installation and configuration of the operating system and application layers, Windows or Linux servers either stand-alone or virtual within timeframes provided by management.Maintain operational readiness checklist for all supported services.Effective handling of Incidents, Changes, work orders, problem investigation and root cause analysis.Providing recommendations for new server hardware to meet specific requirementsSystem monitoring, profiling, and optimization of startup/boot time, CPU load, and memory bandwidth.Document wiki with the appropriate information as necessary. Address system reliability concerns throughout the product lifecycle (patching, vulnerability fixes).
