1. Provide technical expertise and support for Red Hat and VMware products- installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
2. Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and design customized solutions using Red Hat and VMware technologies.
3. Implement and deploy Red Hat and VMware products, according to project specifications and timelines.
4. Conduct system and network assessments to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement in the context of Red Hat Linux and VMware
5. Assist in the planning and execution of system upgrades, migrations, and other infrastructure-related projects .
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Red Hat and VMware products, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
7. Stay updated with the latest developments and advancements in Red Hat and VMware technologies, and apply them to enhance system performance and security.
8. Document technical processes, procedures, and configurations to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Linux System Administration:
Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (e.g., CentOS, Ubuntu, Red Hat) in a production environment.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control on Linux systems.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize server resources.
Perform regular system updates and apply security patches.
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions for Linux servers.
VMware Administration:
Manage VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.
Deploy and configure virtual machines and templates.
Monitor and optimize virtual machine performance and resource allocation.
Implement and maintain high availability (HA) and fault tolerance (FT) configurations.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to virtualization infrastructure.
System Security:
Implement and enforce security best practices for Linux servers and VMware environments.
Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Collaborate with the security team to remediate security vulnerabilities and threats.
Configure and manage firewall rules, intrusion detection systems, and access controls.
Monitoring and Logging:
Set up and maintain monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix) to ensure system health and performance.
Configure and manage log aggregation systems for Linux servers and VMware infrastructure.
Proactively respond to alerts and incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
Generate regular reports on system performance, capacity planning, and security compliance.
Automation and Scripting:
Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Bash, Python) for automating routine tasks and system administration.
