Our Surfacing crew in Nelson is looking for keen enthusiastic person to join their team. We have a growing workload with plenty of exciting projects to work on.

Our crew in Nelson are now looking for Surfacing Workers to come and join us in as we work to carry out multiple paving projects
In this role you’ll undertake the preparation, laying and finishing of asphalt pavements from small maintenance patches to subdivision access ways all the way through to state highway carriageway resurfacing. You will be working with a range of asphalt mixes. In this role you’ll carry out general asphalt surfacing duties including labour and machine operations. You will get the opportunity to operate a range of asphalt equipment including trucks, pavers, skidsteers, rollers and small tools.

In addition to your commitment to safe work practices and the willingness to work alongside your team to achieve our targets, you will also bring:
A minimum class 2 Full New Zealand Drivers Licence
WTR endorsements are essential.
Be physically fit as you carry out hands on activities such as shovelling, digging, lifting, periods of walking and standing.
Flexibility to work nights, weekends
Confidence communicating and working around the public
A high level of physical fitness
A full car licence would be beneficial
