We have two Advisor Wellbeing Support opportunities available, with one role based in New Plymouth and one role based in Palmerston North.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our customers and their wh nau by bringing your expertise in complex wellbeing needs, family harm, and community-based support services.

Working across a diverse range of stakeholders, you'll use your strong local networks and relationship-building skills to connect customers with the support they need and help strengthen wellbeing outcomes within the communities we serve.

You'll be part of a supportive team that values collaboration, professional expertise, and community partnerships. This role will suit someone who enjoys being out in the community, building trusted relationships, identifying opportunities for collaboration, and influencing positive outcomes for customers and wh nau.

Ng pumanawatanga ou - What you will bring

We're looking for someone with a strong background in supporting vulnerable individuals and wh nau, who can confidently build partnerships and work collaboratively across community and government networks.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

Experience working with complex wellbeing needs, including family harm, crisis intervention, housing instability, mental health, or related social challenges.
A sound understanding of the social services sector and the supports available within local communities.
Established stakeholder networks and the ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with external agencies, community organisations, iwi, hapu and service providers.
Strong advocacy, influencing and collaboration skills, with the ability to work alongside multiple agencies to support positive customer outcomes.
Experience supporting, coaching or mentoring others in responding to complex customer situations.
Demonstrated cultural awareness and the ability to work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.
Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with a collaborative and empathetic approach.
Ideally, a background in social work, family violence prevention, community services, housing support, mental health, corrections, or another relevant social services field.
A current full New Zealand Driver Licence, with the ability and willingness to travel regularly across the region.
