A little about the role

Working closely with the Case Worker, the Support Worker will deliver early intervention and preventative support that empowers communities, families, and individuals to address their needs through tailored case management services.

Other key responsibilities:

Build trusting relationships with families to enhance their safety, stability, wellbeing, and overall capacity.
Work with the Case Worker to develop, implement, and review tailored case management plans to address areas of concern.
Maintain accurate client case management files and promote cultural safety and competence.
The base salary for this position is $73,795.28- $79,135.16 (based on 1.0FTE) + super + salary packaging options up to $15,900 per annum + regional allowance. This position is full time, ongoing.

About you

To be successful in this role, you’ll come with:

Sound understanding of Child Protection procedures.
Knowledge of local services and community.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with children, young people, and adults in different situations.
Strong ability to compose clear, accurate, and concise reports, letters, and memos.
Must have a current ‘paid employment’ Working with Children card for WA.
