Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Support Assistant to join our Centralized Disclosure Unit to provide administrative and clerical assistance.

If you can assist with administrative tasks and are a detail-oriented self-starter, we want to hear from you. In this role, you’ll support the Centralized Disclosure Units department with a variety of administrative duties while working collaboratively with a close-knit team.

How you’ll make a difference: You’ll help protect the financial integrity of B.C.’s workers’ compensation system.

Where you’ll work

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely, and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position.

In this role, you'll work in our Richmond office three days a week.

What you'll do

Provide administrative support to the department
Gather materials and information, review files for completion, identify discrepancies, and communicate with appropriate parties to complete files
Prepare and organize various correspondence, reports, presentations, and documents of a legal nature that often include technical industry terminology
Access and maintain databases and procedure manuals
Undertake word processing and document editing

Plan, coordinate, prioritize, and organize a diverse, high-volume workload to effectively multi-task and meet deadlines and changing demands while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
Use initiative to assist, orient, monitor, and act as a resource to individuals in a team environment
Reference and apply policies, procedures, and guidelines in making decisions and solving problems
Understand and respond to stakeholders’ needs in order to provide exemplary customer service
Clearly communicate and document detailed information, both orally and in writing, to a variety of audiences
