POSITION DETAILS - Summer Camp Staff Academic Educator

Candidate will be leading working within either the JK Classroom (ages 3-4), SK Classroom (ages 4-5) or Elementary Group (ages 5-+)
The camp program is half-day academics in the AM and half-day fun camp activities in the PM
Teaching, organizing and creating reports for morning academic programs for each child (e.g. phonics, reading, math etc)
Program planning and leading afternoon camp activities from arts crafts, science experiments, cooking, sports, water play, and more

Dates: June 30 - August 15, 2025 (Monday to Friday only) – 7 weeks MUST TO BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL WEEKS
In Person Training Dates: June 23 - 27, 2025 (8 hours per day)
Post-Camp Debrief, Clean Up Shifts: August 18 1+, 2025 (hours to be determined)
Shift: To be determinded (anytime between 8:15am - 5:45pm)
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Grade 12 (highschool) completion
Certified in Standard First Aid CPR/AED (Level C)
Have a clear police reference check
Minimum 2 years experience working within a classroom or camp (e.g. Kindergarten - Grade 4)
Program planning or academic teaching experience is an asset
