Student Success Assistant (Student Casual)
Job Description
Assisting with front desk operations, supporting student check-ins for scheduled appointments and drop-in services;
Refilling resources such as brochures, flyers, and other informational materials;
Collaborating with the Student Success Navigator to develop templates, resources, training materials, and supporting reference materials for student groups;
Creating resources using Canva to enhance student engagement and support;
Supporting the planning and execution of orientation and transition presentations, workshops, seminars, and other student engagement and retention-related events; and,
Documenting and maintaining accurate student records and information in databases and spreadsheets, ensuring adherence to ATIA, POPA, and University policies and procedures.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships;
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills;
The ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion and tact;
The ability to work independently and collaboratively in an undergraduate learning environment;
Flexibility, the ability to prioritize tasks, and take initiative;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva; and
Strong presentation skills.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled as a full-time student at MacEwan University, with a minimum of 18 credits completed in your program of study.
Must be in good academic standing with a minimum of 2.70 GPA.
Previous experience in a peer support or leadership role would be considered an asset.
A variety of experiences on your Student Experience Record would be considered an asset.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
