Structural Engineering Intern (3-6month)

Company Description SGAWings Consultant, led by founder and director Shri Vivek Abhyankar, is a specialized civil and structural engineering consultancy with several years of experience in complex infrastructure projects (inclusive of Temporary Works Design). We do detail design of infra works like bridge, metros, inclusive of temporary works in tunnels and bridges / bid optimization / structural review / proof checking / audits / technical trainings; technical mothership for top management leaders; construction methods.

Role Description The Structural Engineering Intern role at SGAWings Consultant is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai for a duration of approximately 3–6 months. The intern will assist in structural analysis, design, and detailing of steel, concrete, and PSC elements under the guidance of senior engineers. Daily tasks may include preparing and revising drawings, supporting the development of GADs and construction drawings, and contributing to technical documentation for bridges, buildings, and infrastructure works. The intern will help review design calculations, organize project data, and coordinate with internal / external teams such as highways, planning, architecture and other engineering disciplines. This role offers hands-on exposure to real project workflows, codes and standards, and practical considerations of construction and risk management.

Qualifications
• BE / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech / MSc - in Civil / Structural engineering
• AutoCAD, Staad, Excel software
• Good communication skills + Punctuality & Time management
• Structural analysis + Geotechnical / Foundation Engg
• IS-456 / IS-800 / IS-875 / IRC-5 / IS-2911 / IRC-1893 - should be known.
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, maintain professional conduct, and demonstrate a willingness to learn from senior engineers and project teams.
