Desktop Support Engineer Tembo Global
Job Description
Ticket Management: Monitor, address, and resolve incoming user tickets regarding hardware, software, and local networking glitches
System Deployment: Format, partition, image, and configure new desktop/laptop workstations, peripheral devices (printers, scanners, docking stations), and mobile tech.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex operating system errors (Windows, macOS, or Linux) and enterprise software issues.
Remote Assistance: Conduct swift and seamless remote troubleshooting utilizing tools like [e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, Zoom, MS Quick Assist] to help off-site employees.
Access Control: Assist with day-to-day user access requests, password resets, account lockouts, and group permissions using Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
System Upgrades & Maintenance: Coordinate routine patch management, execute antivirus scans, and upgrade internal hardware components (RAM, SSDs) as required.
Security Alignment: Ensure all corporate endpoints comply with cybersecurity policies, managing local firewalls, VPN clients, and data encryption.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.
Experience: [e.g., 1–3 years] of proven work experience as a Desktop Support Engineer, Technical Support Technician,
OS Fluency: Proficient in troubleshooting Windows 10/11 environments, macOS ecosystems, and basic Linux distributions.
Hardware Knowledge: system assembly,
Networking Basics: basic data closet or Wi-Fi connectivity.
Communication: Exceptional patience, dynamic customer service skills, and a strong capability to communicate technical updates in simple language.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
