Role Description The Store Cashier is a full-time, on-site role based at our retail store NEW SHOP 24h in Jaipur. The cashier is responsible for handling customer billing, processing cash, card, and digital payments, and issuing receipts accurately and efficiently.
Daily tasks include operating the point-of-sale (POS) system, maintaining the cash drawer, reconciling totals at the end of the shift, and ensuring proper documentation of transactions. The role also involves greeting customers, answering basic product and price queries, coordinating with store staff on stock issues, and following company policies for returns, exchanges, and discounts.

Cashier is expected to maintain a clean and orderly checkout area, uphold service standards, and support smooth store operations.
Qualifications
• Strong numerical ability and basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience using POS systems or computer-based billing tools in a retail or customer-facing environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact courteously with customers and team members.
• Attention to detail and reliability to manage cash, receipts, and records with minimal errors.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Prior experience as a cashier or in retail operations is preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum educational qualification: high school diploma or equivalent; additional commerce or accounting training is an advantage.
