Storage Engineer

You will manage and operationalize compute and platform infrastructure across private and public cloud environments. Responsibilities Design, implement, and operationalize compute and platform infrastructure. Automate manual activities and centralize system deployment using shell scripting or Ansible playbooks. Act as a subject matter expert for storage and SAN technologies. Apply CIS security hardening techniques across the enterprise. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure problems. Required Skills 5+ years of experience in storage and infrastructure engineering. Deep understanding of Dell PowerMax and PowerStore arrays. Expertise in Brocade and Cisco MDS FC switches. Experience with Dell or IBM x86 servers. Hands-on experience with VMware or Nutanix. Proficiency in shell scripting or creating Ansible playbooks for infrastructure as code. Ability to work UK business hours. Strong communication skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of AWS technologies, tools, and services. Experience using Jira for work management and time tracking. Exposure to ISO27001 audits. Experience with SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS offerings. Experience with system integration or technology standardization during M&A activities.
