Salary Range : $74,000 - 82,700

JOB DESCRIPTION

A position has become available in the Stewarding department for full-time a Stewarding Supervisor reporting to the Executive Steward and the Assistant Stewarding Managers.

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES

Supervision of Stewarding staff
Assisting with departmental training and orientation of new employees and existing stewards
Monitoring of labour costs daily,
Delegating job tasks and duties to Stewarding staff as required.
Accountable to the Managers of any assigned task to each in every staff during his or her shift
Maintain time keeping and records!
Ensures adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary action if the need to arises.
 JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

At least 2-5 years relevant supervisory experience in the Stewarding / Kitchen areas within the Hospitality industry
Previous experience in a unionized environment
WHMIS Certification is required.
Excellent organizational and written / verbal communicational skills are a must.
Availability to work the overnight shift starting at 10:00 pm
