Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordination of outsourced accounting tasks: answering questions, researching and addressing escalated issues
- Support month end close: initial review of GL detail, monthly balance sheet reconciliations, assist with internal reports and calculations
- Analyze and record recurring receivables in accordance with contract terms, ensuring alignment with related billable expenses
- Review system calculations for commissions receivable and payable based on data inputs, communicating with users and resolving issues
- Research and resolve vendor account discrepancies and billing issues, including reconciliation of large and complex accounts; respond to vendor inquiries.
- Track corporate credit card expense submissions, ensure proper categorization, and assist with reconciliation issues
- Assist with yearly 1099 preparation and review
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate industry
- Strong knowledge of best practices, double-entry bookkeeping, and basic accounting principles
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to handle high volumes of communication and tasks
- Proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets; comfortable using automation tools and working within databases
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders

Salary range: 70K-75K
