SQL Server Database Administrator

Your future duties and responsibilities

Ensure the continuous and optimal operation of the database.
Identify, implement, and document data management and operations solutions.
Monitor database performance.
Implement changes and deploy patches and new application versions, as needed.
Assist development teams in applying best practices for designing data access solutions.
Provide proactive and reactive support for incidents related to data management systems.
Resolve data management issues and optimize databases.
Perform complex data extractions to meet audit and security investigation requirements.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must reside in the province of Quebec.
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Comfortable speaking French.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of relational databases.
Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, Power BI Report Server.
Exceptional command of SQL language.
Hands-on experience with SQL Server high-availability capabilities.
Knowledge of best practices in data systems security.
Strong understanding of SQL Server database administration operations.
Proficiency in a distributed cluster environment.
Availability outside of standard business hours.

Asset:
Experience with data warehouse and data analytics system environments.
