Job Summary:

A loving family in the Houston 77056 area is seeking a warm, responsible, and experienced part-time nanny to care for their 2-year-old child on Fridays and Saturdays. The ideal candidate is nurturing, dependable, and has experience caring for toddlers. You must be comfortable with creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that supports early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and loving care for a 2-year-old child.
Engage in age-appropriate play and developmental activities (reading, singing, games, etc.).
Prepare and serve meals and snacks for the child.
Assist with diapering, potty training (if applicable), and hygiene.
Maintain the child’s nap schedule and sleep routine.
Light housekeeping related to the child (cleaning up toys, dishes used by the child, etc.).
Ensure a safe and secure environment at all times.
Communicate regularly with the parents regarding the child’s activities, needs, and milestones.

Job Requirements:

At least 2 years of experience caring for toddlers (either professionally or as a nanny).
Must be 21 years or older.
CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain before starting).
Clean background and driving record (background check required).
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Reliable transportation to/from Houston 77056.
Non-smoker while on duty.
Able to lift up to 30 lbs and be active with the child (playing, going for walks, etc.).
Fluent in English; bilingual is a plus.
Patient, gentle, trustworthy, and engaging personality.
Punctual and dependable.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with early childhood education or child development training.
Knowledge of toddler nutrition and positive discipline techniques.
Bilingual (especially Spanish or French) is a plus.
Comfortable with pets (if any in the home).
Compensation:

Hourly rate: DOE (Depends on Experience)
