Story Mode is a marketing consultancy in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We work with startups globally, and we're looking for someone to create and edit video and handle social posting for a handful of them.
This is an in-office role. You'll work from our space in NOTL.
What you'll do
Shoot and edit short-form video for Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Most cuts run 15 to 90 seconds
Come up with content ideas, not just execute ones handed to you
Keep a content calendar organized and filled out ahead of time
Schedule and publish posts, including same-day ones that can't wait for a scheduler
Make the occasional static graphic: event posters, carousel slides, story cards
Write or tighten captions
Cut video ad creative for Meta campaigns - we handle the ad accounts, you make the videos that go in them
What we're looking for
A reel or portfolio of work you edited yourself
Someone quick. A same-day turnaround request should be normal, not a fire drill
A good eye. You can watch 20 minutes of raw footage and find the 40 seconds worth keeping
Comfortable in Premiere, Resolve, or CapCut, and in Canva or Figma for graphics
Nice to have
Motion graphics or animated titles
