Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sign Production & Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with or be willing to learn, installing commercial-grade signs, operating commercial-grade CNC routers and commercial-grade laser printers, and being able to think and work independently.
Duties:
Assist in installing commercial-grade signage on-site using ladders and standard hand tools
Experience using or being able to quickly and accurately learn safe operation of commercial-grade CNC routers & commercial-grade laser printers
Experience with hand-sanding and using sanding equipment, and hand-painting of items with accuracy and no errors
Set up equipment for safe operation according to production needs
Ensure OSHA safety standards and quality standards are met
Follow production schedules and independently prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes
Qualifications:
Experience using woodworking electric and hand tools, including but not limited to sanders, drills, hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety protocols
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills and ability to think independently and take initiative without ******** direction
