The specialist will be responsible for customizing and optimizing Shopify themes to meet client requirements, ensuring design consistency and functionality. Day-to-day tasks include editing and fine-tuning themes, troubleshooting issues, collaborating with designers and developers, and adhering to project deadlines. This is a project-based contract role with flexible hours. Qualifications Proficiency in Shopify theme customization, including Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Experience with responsive design and optimizing themes for both desktop and mobile views Capability to troubleshoot technical issues, identify solutions, and ensure quality assurance of Shopify themes Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and attention to detail in creating visually appealing e-commerce experiences Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a remote, project-based setting Previous experience customizing Shopify themes or certifications related to Shopify development is a plus Familiarity with SEO best practices and performance optimization for e-commerce websites
