Now Hiring: Front Window Team Member
Bandidos Mexican Food Truck is looking for an energetic, friendly, and dependable team member to be the face of our food truck! If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, love providing excellent customer service, and can keep your cool during a lunch rush, we'd love to meet you.
As our Front Window Team Member, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. Your primary responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders accurately, entering orders into our point-of-sale system, processing payments, and maintaining clear communication with the kitchen to ensure every order is prepared correctly and delivered promptly.
English and Spanish communication skills are preferred but not required.
Duties & Responsibilities
Greet every customer with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
Accurately take food and beverage orders.
Enter orders into the POS system.
Process cash, credit card, and mobile payments.
Clearly communicate orders and special requests to the cook staff.
Assemble completed orders and verify accuracy before serving.
Keep the service window, condiment station, and dining area clean and organized.
Restock supplies as needed throughout the shift.
Assist with opening and closing duties.
Follow all food safety and sanitation standards.
Work as part of a team to provide fast, efficient service.
Preferred Experience
Customer service experience.
Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) experience.
Restaurant, food truck, or fast-paced food service experience.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Requirements
Must be at least 16 years old.
Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed.
Must obtain or be willing to obtain a South Dakota Food Handler's Permit (if required).
