Job Summary
Exit 79 Restaurant / Amsterdam Inn & Suites is seeking an enthusiastic Server to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant. The successful candidate will work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment focused on high-quality service and hospitality.
Compensation: Hourly wage plus gratuities
Duties & Responsibilities
Take customer orders and serve food and beverages
Provide recommendations based on customer needs and preferences
Deliver attentive and efficient table service
Maintain a clean and organized service area
Ensure guests have a positive and welcoming dining experience
Follow all food safety and health regulations
Clean and reset tables, glassware, and service areas
Assist with general restaurant duties as required
Requirements
Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role preferred
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is an asset
Ability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Strong organizational and multitasking skills

Le restaurant Exit 79 / Amsterdam Inn & Suites recherche un(e) serveur/serveuse enthousiaste pour se joindre à son équipe. Le titulaire du poste est responsable d’offrir une expérience client exceptionnelle, d’assurer la satisfaction de la clientèle et de contribuer au bon fonctionnement et à l’efficacité du restaurant. Le/la candidat(e) retenu(e) évoluera au sein d’une équipe dynamique, dans un environnement axé sur un service et un accueil de haute qualité.
Rémunération : Salaire horaire plus pourboires.
Missions et responsabilités
Prendre les commandes des clients et servir les plats et les boissons
Faire des recommandations selon les besoins et préférences des clients
Assurer un service en salle attentif et efficace
Maintenir la propreté et l’organisation de la zone de service
Offrir une expérience client positive et accueillante
Respecter les normes de sécurité alimentaire et d’hygiène
Nettoyer et remettre en place les tables, la verrerie et les zones de service
Participer aux tâches générales du restaurant selon les besoins
Exigences
Expérience préalable en tant que serveur/serveuse ou dans un poste similaire considérée comme un atout
Bonne connaissance du service en restauration
Excellentes compétences en communication et en service à la clientèle
Attitude positive et esprit d’équipe
Capacité à travailler efficacement dans un environnement rapide
Être légalement autorisé(e) à travailler au Canada
Qualifications
Diplôme d’études secondaires ou équivalent ; certification en hôtellerie un atout
