Senior Software Engineer

About This Opportunity

This is a Developer role at CNS (AI T&I – AI Technology & Innovation) Ericsson R&D Chennai where you get to work with highly motivated engineers in driving technology architecture aspects to ensure leadership in the cognitive Network Solutions.

You will be part of the team which Develops, industrialize and take to market MLOps platform fulfilling both customer and Ericsson internal needs and converge existing platforms into one common foundation.

Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize in cross functional development teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

What You Will Do
• Perform continuous analysis and requirement handling.Develop and test high quality products!
• Perform trouble shooting and customer support.Drive continuous improvements of products and processes.
• Develop competence in technical domain.Manage communication, planning. collaboration and feedback loops with business stakeholders. Chip in to IPR creation for Ericsson

You will bring
• Bachelors/master’s in computer science, or related subject areas from any of the reputed institutes.First Class, preferably with Distinction.
• 12+years of experience as Software Architect with strong hands-on experience.Good experience of Kubernetes.
• Very strong in microservice architecture concepts and development.Very good in programming (Java/Python/Golang).Very comfortable working with tools like Gerrit/Jenkins/Jira/Confluence.
• Experience with delivering software products, for example release management, documentation.Strong understanding of development practices like architecture design, coding, test and verification.Very good in Linux.Good understanding of secure product development
• Good to have: exposure to Bigdata technologies like Hadoop,Spark,Kafka, Zookeeper!
• Exposure to AI/ML domain and tools is a plus.Good communications and presentation capabilities.Fair understanding on standardizing way of working.
