For more info please visit: https://career.molecularconnections.com/job-openings/ Role: Senior Scientist – Chemical Data Intelligence (3+ years’ experience) We are seeking an experienced scientist with expertise in chemical data curation and information systems to help shape our next-generation chemistry knowledge platform. You will lead data interpretation, develop curation protocols, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the scientific accuracy, depth, and connectivity of our database. Key Responsibilities · Lead and review complex data extraction and curation of reactions, substances, and bioactivity data. · Design and optimize data models, taxonomies, and ontologies for chemical and experimental data. · Mentor junior scientists and oversee quality assurance of curated datasets. · Drive improvements in automation, NLP-assisted extraction, and validation methodologies. · Contribute scientific insights to enhance data coverage and user utility Required Skills: Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or related field. · 3+ years of experience in chemical data curation, cheminformatics, or knowledge management. · Proficiency with chemical databases (e.g., Reaxys, SciFinder, PubChem) and chemical information standards. · Familiarity with chemical structure representation, reaction encoding, and data integration tools. · Experience coordinating small scientific or data teams preferred. · Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a passion for digital transformation in chemistry Why Join Molecular Connections?
