We're on the lookout for a Senior Recruitment Advisor to join us at the Intelligence Community Shared Services to deliver end-to-end recruitment services for the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) | Te Tira Tiaki and the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS) | Te Pā Whakamarumaru.

About the role

This is more than your standard senior recruitment role. Working in this environment means that we can't say too much about what we do, but as you can imagine, your work will be varied, meaningful and valued. You could be designing tailored sourcing and selection strategies, leading and driving recruitment technology and improvement projects, or overseeing end to end recruitment for unique roles you won't find elsewhere. You'll be a recognised specialist, utilising your insight and experience to deliver great recruitment outcomes and an excellent candidate experience.

You'll play a key part in developing and mentoring others in the team, further building capability and confidence in the recruitment function.

Is this you?

This is a unique opportunity which will suit a Senior Recruitment Advisor with the following skills and background:

Proven end-to-end recruitment experience, either in-house or agency based
Experience across a range of selection methods, including assessment centres and bulk recruitment rounds
Experience in improvement and/or recruitment technology initiatives supporting attraction, selection, and on boarding
A passion for continuous improvement and providing next level candidate experience
Ability to influence others, while growing and maintaining effective working relationships across all levels of an organisation
Demonstrated experience partnering with hiring managers using innovative sourcing and selection practices
A pragmatic approach to problem solving with the ability to navigate complex situations and manage priorities in time pressured environments

You must:
Have been a New Zealand Citizen for at least 10 years

OR

Hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of the UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years
Be eligible to obtain a Top Secret Special (TSS) security clearance
Ordinarily, this means you'll have a 15-year checkable background in countries NZSIS Vetting can make meaningful and reliable checks.
