Are you an experienced Purchase Executive looking for a new opportunity? Medicover Hospitals is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Purchase Executive to join our team. As a Senior Purchase Executive, you will play a crucial role in sourcing materials, vendor development, procurement, logistics management, and maintaining efficient inventory control.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize RFI, RFQ, RFP methods for sourcing materials.
• Develop and maintain a database of reliable vendors.
• Compare costs and create cost estimates for different materials.
• Procure a wide range of items including Plumbing/Sanitary material, Electrical items, Packing Material, IT Assets (Software & Hardware) Consumables, Construction material, Hardware, House Keeping material, Capex, Opex, Engg, Admin Marketing Activities related material, Stationery, AMCs, and more.
• Coordinate with internal clients, customers, and various departments to understand their material requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate rate quotations from suppliers, and engage in effective negotiations.
• Manage logistics, negotiate freight rates, and coordinate with forwarders.
• Verify Purchase requisitions, prepare Purchase orders in ERP (SAP MM), and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Handle and resolve claims and queries from requesters and suppliers.
• Maintain supplier catalogs and contents.
• Authorize GRN/MRN and invoices after material receipt, and ensure smooth payment processes.
