Job Description:
Pureplay Technologies in Kolkata is seeking a dedicated OT Nurse to join our team. The OT Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care in the operating theater, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor the health status of patients in the operating theater, including vital signs, symptoms, and medical history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Perform diagnostic tests and analyze outcomes to assist in patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about their health condition, available treatments, and self-care practices.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient treatment.
• Delegate responsibilities to other healthcare workers, such as CNAs and LPNs, as needed.
• Provide first aid and basic life support in emergency situations.
• Participate in professional growth activities and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in OT nursing.
• Valid nursing license from the State Nursing Council.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in medical record-keeping and documentation.
• Basic life support certification is preferred.
