Hyde & Seek Communications is a boutique strategic communications consultancy working with founders, corporates and purpose-led organisations across technology, AI, healthcare, professional services, sustainability and social impact.
We’re looking for a Senior Public Relations Professional to join our team full-time in Southbank, Melbourne.
In this role, you’ll lead client accounts, develop and deliver PR strategies, manage media relationships, write high-quality communications materials and help drive reputation-building work for a range of clients.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute PR and communications strategies
- Manage day-to-day client relationships
- Identify and secure earned media opportunities
- Write media materials including releases, pitches and bylines
- Coordinate interviews and spokesperson opportunities
- Build and maintain journalist relationships
- Monitor coverage and report on results
- Support broader positioning and reputation work
About you
- 5+ years’ experience in PR, communications, journalism or a related field
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong media relations experience
- Able to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working independently and directly with clients
