Join a multi-disciplinary team delivering acute and complex mental health care to young people and families in the comfort of their own homes.
Permanent Ongoing Full or Part time 0.6 – 1.0 EFT Spotswood based
Travel for home visits incl. in work hours AM, PM & weekend shifts

Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing Service (PYMHWS) is Victoria’s newest public mental health service dedicated to the care of young people aged 12 to 25 experiencing complex mental health challenges.

The Opportunity:
The Senior Mental Health Clinician will provide leadership to staff within the Hospital in the Home (HITH) program as part of a rotating roster. This role is key in delivering comprehensive care within the Hospital in the Home model.
HITH is an acute service providing early intervention to young people with severe and complex mental illness within the home environment.
Providing access to care 24 hours, 7 days per week by a multidisciplinary team, HITH ensures comprehensive, collaborative and coordinated mental health care to young people aged 12 to 25 and their families/carers in Melbourne's northwest and western suburbs.
Our service is made up of compassionate, curious, and committed people. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced, kind and collaborative Senior Mental Health Clinician to support and lead the delivery of comprehensive acute and complex mental health care to young people and their families of the Hospital in the Home program.

About the Role:
The Senior Mental Health Clinician is a key position within the Hospital in the Home team. You will support and lead the delivery of comprehensive, acute and complex mental health care to young people and their families as part of the Hospital in the Home program.
The Senior Mental Health Clinician will demonstrate high standards of clinical care that are developmentally appropriate, responsive to the young person’s needs, and informed by current evidence and guidelines.
