Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer with robust expertise in enterprise web application development, cloud technologies, and application support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Java, Spring, React JS, Oracle, AWS services, DevOps pipelines, and production support within large-scale enterprise environments.
The role involves understanding core operational applications, managing integrations, supporting deployments, troubleshooting production issues, improving application performance, and collaborating with onsite/offshore teams in an Agile delivery environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand and support enterprise applications across Core Operations platforms such as iDesk, GTFP, CRR, FMS, and related systems.
- Analyze integrations with upstream/downstream applications and identify impacted areas during enhancements and validations.
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise web applications using Java and related technologies.
- Develop and maintain application components using Java, JSP, Spring Framework, Hibernate, React JS, and Web Services.
- Support build, deployment, and release management activities across environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including local setup guides, deployment documents, and operational procedures.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely issue resolution.
- Collaborate with web administrators, security/OIS teams, and infrastructure teams to resolve vulnerabilities and application issues.
- Monitor application performance using AppDynamics, Splunk, CloudWatch, and related monitoring tools.
- Work closely with onsite/offshore teams and participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and reviews.
- Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines.
- Support DevOps pipelines and cloud deployment activities in AWS environments.
Required Skills Experience
- 8+ years of experience in web application development using Java technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Java
- JSP
- Spring Framework / Spring Boot
- Hibernate
- React JS
- JavaScript
- Web Services (REST/SOAP)
- Experience working with:
- Oracle Database
- JBoss Server
- WebSphere Application Server
- Solid experience in AWS services including:
- AWS Lambda
- ECS
- S3
- Cloud-native deployments
- Experience with DevOps pipelines, build automation, and deployment processes.
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools:
- AppDynamics
- Splunk
- AWS CloudWatch
- Experience fixing vulnerabilities and coordinating with OIS/security teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or AI-assisted development tools.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of enterprise financial or operations applications landscape.
- Experience in production support and application performance tuning.
- Exposure to CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
- Experience working with distributed/global teams. .
