This role leads complex investigations, applying technical expertise and legislation to develop investigation reports and briefs.Work across a multi-discipline team, working with other likeminded, highly skilled agencies, such as Queensland Police Service (QPS), Queensland Boating Fisheries Patrol (QBFP), Maritime Safety Queensland (MSQ), Australian Maritime Safety Authority (ASMA).You will manage compliance projects, provide guidance to staff, and collaborate with government agencies, expert witnesses, and community groups. Additionally, you'll represent the organisation in court on relevant cases.
Role focus:
- Lead complex investigations using technical expertise and legislative frameworks to develop legal briefs.- Manage compliance projects, providing guidance and support to those involved in investigations.- Collaborate with government agencies, expert witnesses, and community groups to achieve successful outcomes.- Prepare reports, submissions, and represent the organisation in court proceedings.- Communicate, collaborate and mentor a broad range of staff.
To be considered you must:
- hold an unrestricted manual driver's licence
There are no mandatory qualifications required to undertake this position, however a Certificate IV in Investigations, Diploma in Investigations, Detective appointment, or appointment as an investigator in a regulatory body would be highly regarded.
