Maintenance Person

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Outdoor Maintenance Person to help maintain the beautiful grounds, gardens, vineyards, and exterior spaces of Hessenland Inn Schatz Winery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and attractive environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Landscaping Groundskeeping:
Mow lawns, trim hedges, prune trees, weed gardens when required.
Maintain walking paths, driveways, patios, and vineyard rows.
Vineyard Winery Grounds Support:
Assist with vineyard maintenance tasks such as tying, trimming, and harvesting (seasonal).

Facility Exterior Upkeep:
Clean outdoor furniture, patios, and recreational areas.
Perform minor repairs on outdoor structures, fencing, and signage.
Remove trash and debris from all outdoor areas.
Seasonal Duties:
Leaf raking and gutter cleaning in fall.
Holiday or event décor setup as needed.
Safety Reporting:
Report damages, unsafe conditions, or repair needs to the maintenance team.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor maintenance.
Ability to operate basic landscaping equipment (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers).
Comfort working in a variety of weather conditions.
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
Valid driver's license (preferred).
Working Conditions:
Primarily outdoors with exposure to seasonal weather conditions.
Weekend or evening hours may be required, especially during peak seasons and events.
