Procurement Officer

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore’s internal security and stability. What you will be working on:
You will be part of a dynamic team working on MHA procurement and administration, with the following key responsibilities:
- Support and execute daily procurement transactions, including administration of purchase requests and vetting of purchase documents
- Able to provide advice and consultation on government procurement policies and procedures to end-users
- Ensure governance of Home Team procurement and compliance to Home Team procurement policies
- Able to use procurement systems effectively to process purchases online and retrieve data for analysis and reporting

What we are looking for:
- Relevant experience in procurement management and good understanding of the Government IM on Procurement will be advantageous
- Good communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
- Able to engage internal and external parties professionally and provide good customer service to end-users
- Possess initiative and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in IT skills (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), writing skills with a good command of English would be preferred
