What you'll do

In this newly created role, you will be a trusted advisor and partner to leaders, driving people strategies that enable business performance, foster a high-performing culture, and shape the employee experience across several brands in our Group. Working within a team of five with two direct reports, this role aligns people initiatives with business priorities, ensuring talent, culture, and capability are leveraged for impact.

Actively coach and mentor members within the People team.
Drive and deliver strategic people initiatives and projects aligned with business objectives, taking a data-driven approach.
Facilitate and manage employee life cycle activities (performance and salary reviews, talent and succession planning, performance management, onboarding and offboarding, reward and recognition).
Provide advice regarding disciplinary, performance and grievance issues, and ensure supporting policy and procedures meet industrial relations legislative and business requirements.
Stay ahead of industry trends, proactively recommending new ways to enhance our people and culture approach.
What you'll bring

Experienced HR advisor with solid foundations: you bring broad HR generalist experience and strong knowledge of Australian employment law, confidently managing the full employee life cycle with professionalism and care.
Trusted partner to the business: you proactively support the business on people-related matters, building credibility through sound advice, consistency, and a deep understanding of their challenges.
Strong relationship skills: you connect easily with others and can flex your style to establish effective relationships. You lead others with emotional intelligence and accountability.
Disposition to work and execute fast, without compromising on quality. You have a bias for action, and don’t sit around waiting to be told what to do.
Business acumen: you understand the nature and interdependencies of business functions and supporting processes. You can connect the dots with what’s happening in our business and industry, to maximise results.
Analytical thinking: you’re proficient in utilising data and metrics to drive informed decision-making and optimise recruitment processes.
LEAP is an inclusive, people-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential. If you meet some, but not all of the requirements above, we encourage you to still submit your application.
